I must admit that this morning`s breakfast was mostly a ploy to avoid the task of cleaning, and frankly the only time procrastination has done me any good.
As per usual, inspiration for this dish was a combination of coincidence and desperation.
So the bottle of coconut rum a friend bought me, “pear”-ed with (Pun intended. Get it?… Fine, sorry…) my new found boredom with maple syrup, day two of a craving for french toast, and the one last bosc pear sitting in my fruit dish, I did what was only obvious.
